Your Housing Group is a registered social housing landlord providing safe, affordable homes to people at every stage of life. They own and manage more than 29,000 properties across the North, and offer homes for social rent, affordable rent, shared ownership, outright sale, and private rent.

Celebrating a memorable year
We were thrilled to win a competitive creative tender for Your Housing Group, producing their yearly regulatory documents including the Customer Annual Report. The materials celebrated a memorable year, both challenging and rewarding, showcasing the dedication and successes of the staff.
The brief
This suite of documents needed to strike the right balance between the corporate brand of Your Housing Group and at the same time, show a high level of creativity and innovative use of infographics, graphs and tables to bring the documents to life.
The materials would be a mix of printed and online versions and we needed to consider shape, style and size, and special finishing techniques suitable for the printed reports.
Passion, pride and creativity
The client wanted the designs to reach out to their audience in a way that embodied their future-thinking ethos. Taking on board the corporate values of Your Housing Group – Passion, Pride and Creativity – we set about designing materials that were aesthetically exciting and made for really engaging reading.
At Carbon we developed a moodboard with suitable creative and illustrative ideas to match their brand, and with the clients feedback we developed a style that showcased their genuine desire to support and celebrate customers and colleagues.
The creative was developed with full page photography highlighting key events from over the year and all the great work the staff do at Your Housing Group.
Extra touches included the print of the report as we opted for a interesting, tactile and textured feel. Special attention was given to paper stocks and finishing with additional spot uv and embossing. We also ensured all online versions of documents were fully interactive as pdfs to aid the reader.

We delivered a creative solution that was so much more than just information on a page. These image-led materials took a friendly approach, showcasing the journey, hard work and dedication of Your Housing Group’s vision to ‘transforming lives and communities’.
