The Global Energy Talent Index (GETI) is the world’s leading report on energy recruitment and employment trends, created by Energy Jobline in partnership with Airswift. Each year, it brings together insights from thousands of energy professionals across the globe — from renewables and oil & gas to power, nuclear, and emerging technologies.
GETI shines a light on the state of the global energy workforce — exploring everything from salaries and mobility to skills, diversity, and the transition to a low-carbon future. It’s become the go-to resource for understanding how the energy industry is evolving, helping businesses and professionals alike stay ahead in a rapidly changing world.
The brief
Energy Jobline and Airswift — two powerhouses in global energy recruitment — approached us with an exciting challenge: to create a website that would amplify the reach of their Global Energy Talent Index (GETI) report.
This was their first ever worldwide workforce survey for the energy sector, so it needed to make an impact. The brief was to design something special — a site that was visually striking, easy to navigate, and packed with insight. Alongside showcasing key findings, the site also needed to include a smart data-capture feature, giving users access to the full report once they’d completed a simple online form.
An eye-catching style
Drawing inspiration from GETI’s signature blues, we built a bold yet minimal colour palette that feels fresh and confident. To bring the data to life, we used striking motion graphics that emphasised the global scale of the survey, paired with bright, animated infographics set against a rich dark backdrop.
The layout itself was intentionally simple — clean lines, plenty of breathing space — allowing the visuals to take centre stage while keeping the call-to-action crystal clear and impossible to miss.
The outcome
We delivered an engaging, high-impact website that hit every goal from the brief — and then some. Since launch, the report has been downloaded thousands of times, sharing valuable insights and sparking conversation across the global energy industry.
When you consider that a typical direct mail campaign is considered successful with response rates between just 0.25% and 1%, the results from the GETI campaign really stand out. The conversion rates achieved through the website far exceeded industry averages, proving the strength of the concept, the clarity of the design, and the global appetite for GETI’s insights. It’s a powerful reminder that when great content meets great creative, engagement naturally follows.
