1. Carbon Creative tree planting scheme

Carbon Creative now plant a tree for every order that a customer makes no matter how big or small. It is something we are very proud to be doing and find extremely rewarding.

2. Recycling and using environmentally friendly suppliers, products and services.

Within our offices we recycle as many products as possible including paper, plastic, packaging, toner and print cartridges and computers. We try to keep all waste to a minimum. We strive to work with suppliers who are actively introducing their own environmentally friendly processes.

We are constantly assessing our energy usage and reducing it where possible. We encourage all employees to take an active role in this by switching off all unused equipment and keeping lights and heating/air conditioning switched down when possible. We try to buy in equipment which is rated as more energy efficient including flat panel monitors and computers with a high performance to low watt ratio.

All our power is provided from 100% renewable sources and the natural gas used for heating is carbon offset.

3. Research and implementation of an Environmental Management System, concluding in application of ISO 14001.

To help us in our goal in applying for ISO 14001 we are dedicated to researching how we can define specific procedures needed to implement an operational system to help sustain the environment.

It will be a continuous cycle of planning, checking, implementing, analysing and then improving. We frequently attend regional seminars hosted by respected organisations such as Envirowise.

All personnel at Carbon Creative share an enthusiasm and dedication to helping sustain the world we live in. All staff are encouraged to contribute their own opinions and views to ensure the progression and improvement of all policies.

Our policies are not one dimensional. We are encouraging both our clients and suppliers to adopt their own environmentally friendly activities and we love helping them with these challenges.
