Are we tree hugging eco warriors? No!
Are we country bumpkins? No!
Are we mad? Possibly...
Carbon Creative is a graphic design agency with responsibility. The foundations of the print publishing industry owes its lifeblood to one simple natural resource, paper. Our tree dedication is a small contribution to help the environment and put something back.
Not only can planting trees help generate the natural resource of paper but they also play a crucial role in helping combat the disastrous effects of global warming.
The earth is heating up and global warming is one of the most serious challenges facing the planet today. To protect the health and economic well-being of current and future generations, we all have a moral responsibility to help reduce emissions of heat-trapping gases such as carbon dioxide. Trees absorb carbon dioxide and by pledging to plant more, we can play a small part in helping fight global warming.
Richard Branson has recently pledged to invest £1.6bn over the next decade to combat global warming and promote alternative energy. Now, we can't exactly match Richard's efforts, but we still believe our achievements will have an impact on the environment, no matter how big or small!
"If I was going to die tomorrow I would plant a tree today "

Carbon Creative are pledging to plant trees in support of all new customers and for existing customers who place any orders over £500.
We have selected a local organisation to help us achieve this vision. Red Rose Forest are based in Salford and are helping to transform a large part of Greater Manchester into a greener, better place to live, work and invest in.
Carbon Creative has selected one particular forest site to sponsor, Hurst Wood. Combining ancient woodland valleys, new tree planting and open meadows, Hurst Wood near Whitefield is a beautiful area. It is set adjacent to the Irwell valley and has stunning views across Manchester.
To kick start our campaign Carbon Creative pledged 50 trees to be planted at Hurst Wood.
For all new customers and existing customers who spend over £500 we will be dedicating further trees. Customers will receive a certificate in recognition of this. We will be keeping you up-to-date on all future pledges and the total number of trees we have at Hurst Wood.
But of course, planting trees is not going to completely resolve global warming. We still need to address the root problems, the burning of fossil fuels, and how we can help reduce carbon emissions.
Carbon Creative are constantly looking at a whole range of solutions for how we can become more carbon neutral. |
